Earlier on Tuesday, Stevie Nicks announced her upcoming tour for this fall. The 24 Karat Gold Tour, which will consist of music from her recent album 24 Karat Gold: Songs from The Vault, will kick off on October 25th in Nicks’ hometown Phoenix, Arizona. As special guests, The Pretenders will join her and they will wrap up the tour on December 18th in Los Angeles.

Speaking with The New York Times about her solo tour, Nicks said “I just woke up one morning and said, I have two years off before Fleetwood Mac comes knocking on my door. Why would I want to sit around and do nothing?”
The singer recently finished a 14 month long tour with Fleetwood Mac last November. She joined the band in 1975 and they’ve been friends since.
