A CNN anchor got more than emotional as he responded to Donald Trump, who spent the weekend attacking the city of Baltimore and its residents.

Victor Blackwell, who news anchor, best known for presenting New Day Weekend, tore Trump who lashed out in a series of tweets where he claimed that Rep. Elijah Cummings served a city that is “a disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess.”

Blackwell reminded the world that Trump only used despicable and racist language when talking about minorities.

The reporter shared: “Donald Trump has tweeted more than 43,000 times. He’s insulted thousands of people, many different types of people. But when he tweets about infestation, it’s about black and brown people.”

He went on to talk about being born and growing up in Baltimore: “The president says about Congressman Cummings’ district that no human would want to live there. You know who did, Mr. President? I did, from the day I was brought home from the hospital to the day I left for college, and a lot of people I care about still do.”

One person reacted to the tweet: “I don’t necessarily think that his comments are always racist, but I do wish he could be more sensitive and respectful in his delivery of his opinion. It just not necessary to be so harsh and cold when speaking about and to places where people live and people in general. Just my opinion.”

Another commenter stated: “This “president’s” behavior is beyond disgusting and embarrassing to this country smh. I’m sorry, but can we stop breathing life into his words?! He says them & means for them to be insulting, that’s not new. I mean what president tweets 43,000x?! & What are we doing about it?! What can NOT happen is we allow his words to break us personally, nor professionally. & I feel where the anchor is coming from & am very sensitive to that so don’t @ me.”

This voter revealed: “Baltimore is just like any city with a large minority population yes there are bad parts, and there are also good parts just like every city-state country or island, and there are many ppl who WANT to live here bc this is their home. Aside from those people, HELLA people move to Baltimore all the time, and as THE PRESIDENT if he feels that strongly about Baltimore, then he needs to take the initiative for positive change. Not to mention he wants to use this “infestation “word when it comes to people he’s degrading but live in New York City for a good majority of his life … A place is known for rat infestation. 🤦🏾‍♀️”

Political experts are convinced that all this race-baiting is a strategy for 2020.
