One of Australia’s biggest Mexican fast food chains has released a value menu in a bid to help ease the rising cost of living.
Guzman y Gomez launched the new GYG 10 under $10 value menu, which features items such as the GYG mini chicken burrito and the mini chicken burrito bowl.
Both items, which feature flame-grilled free-range chicken, pico de gallo salsa, jack cheese, rice and beans, have a $9.50 price tag.
Other items include the $3 taco, medium fries with chipotle mayo, $4 churros, small sundae, medium coffee and ice latte, which has a $4.70 price tag.
Guzman y Gomez founder and CEO Steven Marks said the menu cemented the fast food company’s mission to reinvent the industry more than ever during the cost of living crisis.

GYG’s 10 under $10 value menu provides our guests the best quality food, at an affordable price with the speed and convenience of traditional fast food,” Mr Marks said.

The new GYG 10 under $10 menu is available in restaurants, via the drive thru and on the GYG app.
However the prices are only applicable to restaurants in NSW, Victoria, South Australia and metro Queensland stores and excludes delivery.
In Western Australia, Northern Territory and regional Queensland, while the majority of the menu stays the same, there are some key differences, such a cheese quesadilla and guacamole and chips instead of the mini burrito and mini burrito bowl.
